Thanks for the chapter, but may I ask why you do not use punctuation (Dots) on sentences that end a bubble? Imo it disrupts the reading flow, especially when there are two sentences in a bubble. It seems like hugely inconsistent and unnatural.
Huzzah! another chapter! Thanks for the great work! I personally prefer the manga over the anime so far, but the anime so far seems decent still. let’s hope it lives up to the fun that this series brings!~!
Why are all the names changed? I was reading in mangarock and the names made sense up to ch 31, but then starting chapter 32 your translation is what appears in it instead… and I don’t understannd why you chose to go with those names that make little sense? Vesta is suddenly Bester? Gazel is Gazelle (this one could be right tho)? Laplace is Lapras??? Is this some joke?
It’s probably bc of the interpretation of the pronunciations, e.g. V in japanese sounds like B sometimes, so Vesta would be Besuta(Bestar?) or something of the sorts. The simplest example is how Gobta becomes Gobuta.
I think the translator changed. In Japanese, V = B and R = L, plus some extra U and O can be added as well. The translator can choose whether to translate characters into an English word written with a V or B, or whether to add a U or O after certain letters. That’s why all the names got switched—it must be a different translator at work.
Plus the first 30 chapters had different starting and ending panels, which is another trademark of the translator.
It’s jarring to switch translators in a manga, but that’s how these uploads go. Maybe the old source stopped uploading, so mangarock found a new one. It’s much better to switch translators than to stop uploading at all.
What I’m most interested in is why there are no more side stories with our storm dragon and Ifrit. Did they stop? Or just too long to translate?
Thank you for the translations. Oh, and also, if you need an editor or “beginner class” redrawer, you can ask me. Im the editor of “okusama ga seitokaichou”.
Thanks for the ch!!!

It’s not really that big of a deal tbh.I wouldn’t say that it makes sentences hugely inconsistent and unnatural.Just sit back n enjoy the show 😉
